Stephen Okafor Chukwuma is a Nigerian drone cinematographer, entrepreneur, and the founder of SemoStev Media,
a leading aerial filming company based in Lagos, Nigeria. With a deep passion for aviation and visual storytelling, he established SemoStev Media in 2017 after recognizing the untapped potential of drone technology in transforming how stories are captured and experienced.
He studied Cinematography at PEFTI Film Institute in 2016, where he developed a strong foundation in visual storytelling, camera techniques, and production. This formal training, combined with his hands-on experience in drone operations, has shaped his unique approach to aerial cinematography. blending technical precision with cinematic creativity.
As a highly skilled and experienced drone pilot, Stephen has built a reputation for precision flying and creative execution, particularly in both FPV and cinematic drone operations. His work is defined by a strong understanding of movement, timing, and visual composition. qualities that allow him to deliver immersive aerial shots that elevate storytelling across film, television, commercials, and documentary productions.
